Nate & Erica were married in Columbus, OH on Sept. 2nd in a beautiful wedding. Erica made a stunning bride, and Nate looked great in his Army uniform. I just had to post this one of Erica, it's a favorite!!

Backyard wedding done right

In August I also had the honor to "2nd shoot" for John Pottenger of Coastline Studios (www.coastline-studios.com). This outdoor wedding at the home of the bride's parents was beautiful in so many ways. From the quaint areas for the guests to converse built by the bride's father to the ceremony on the riverside, this wedding was amazing! The 2 shots above were taken at about 10pm with available light.

In August I had the privilege of doing a large group family session from which these were taken of K&L's kids. Very active kids indeed!! I'm still finishing post processing this session yet, but here's a sneak peak.

OK, so it's been a while since my last post... OK a LONG while!! I've been busy, but I'm starting to get caught up, so here's a few from a family session I did of S&J's kids back in June. They also have 3 daughters, and we had a fun time that evening during their family session.

Fireworks Shots

I love experimenting with long exposure stuff. Here's a couple taken of tonight's fireworks in Dorr. We could see most of them from our front yard. I didn't have a tripod, so I steadied my camera on the back of my neighbor's truck. 5 sec exposure, f/10, ISO 320, @ 50mm.

What a great day!!
Today Tim & Samantha allowed me the great privilege of capturing their wedding day. We had an absolutely PERFECT day as you can see in these shots from the beach. Here's just a few to get started-- then I've GOT to go to bed!!

My Wife

I just want to take a minute to dote on my wife. She stays home every day all day to raise and nurture our beautiful girls while I try to earn a living. And trust me, with 3 little ones 5 & under, I know who has the tougher job!! Then on the weekends she graciously supports me as I seek opportunities to develop and grow as a photographer. I love her so much, and her support is so important to me. Thanks honey, I love you!!

Mackinac Bridge at night

I know it's been done probably thousands of times, but I couldn't resist dabbling with a 30 second exposure after dark. True fun!

Perfect end to a perfect day.

This was the picture painted for us in the sky as we rode the ferry back on Saturday evening. God's creation is truly AWESOME!!
